This training is about decolonizing our relationships through how we communicate and hold each other relationally. This is justice and liberation work that happens at the relational micro level.
Knowing where to begin, what to change, and how to decolonize each other relationally can feel daunting, confusing, and/or overwhelming. Some of us feel lost or stuck in confusion, shame, guilt, judgment, etc.
Therefore, the training begins with participatory activities that are designed to help you become aware of unconscious/implicit thoughts, feelings, attitudes, decisions, choices, and actions.
So, if you are ready to decolonize your relationships, transform your implicit biases, work on your privileges, then this Relational Justice group training is for you.
Here's what you can expect in this training:
Learn how to show up as a safe skin-privileged person in relationships with Black, Indigenous, and people of color
Coaching to know how to effectively handle a situation when biases get in the way without getting stuck in shame, guilt, overwhelm, confusion, paralysis, shutdown, etc.
How to hold each other accountable in a way that respects each other's humanity
Education on the systems of oppression and its impact on our individual and collective bodies
Much more!
Upgrade how you communicate, Choose how you connect, Improve how you lead.
